Geekogle/Geekoogle was launched in it’s present form (domains) in 2009. However, it has existed  in one form or another since 2003 (private platforms). It has, through it’s life span, taken on many names, via many domains, before it’s final placement here. It served initially as a place to keep a centrally located site for the things we found were awesome on the Internet and was really more of a self-benefited bookmarking site. This scope has grown to it’s current state today, which is to show our visitors gadgets, technology, and whatever else we deem awesome enough to write something about.

We generally report on things that are not the “norm”, in that we choose topics and articles that are behind the lime light. It will be rare that you find an article about a super hot topic. We’re not fans of mainstream media. If you want that sort of thing you can go to any number of other sites.

If you would like to write us with a news tip, feedback, review of your product, or advertising information, please use our contact form. We’d love to hear from you, however realize that we don’t pull punches, and we don’t give false information based on how much swag you send our way. Alternatively, we encourage you, the visitor, to engage or comment on our articles, start a thread about what you’ve read, get involved. We have zero censorship, so drop as many F-bombs as you’d like.

We encourage ping/linkbacks to our articles, so if you’d like to hotlink one to your own blog, twitter, Facebook, etc., please do. We simply ask that you give us a link in the source or body to link them back to here, the original work. You do not need to ask permission unless noted in the article. Remember, some work is copyrighted and we have strict permission from the original author (this is mostly art or valued works).
