Poor realistic-ish Pac-Man. He never saw Inky coming up behind him before it was too late. Who knew that when one of the ghosts finally caught our beloved arcade hero, they were zombies? Talk about a <strike>cherry</strike> twist in that story. Whoever the artist is (please email us using our contact form so we can give credit), thank you for the nightmares of brain nom’ing zombie ghosts, whose only weakness is power-up dots at each corner of the map. Oh look, there’s one. You’re mine, Clyde! Muahahhaha! Click the image for the full sized version.

Nom nom nom. Pac-Man Candy Tastes Like WIN!

Did you know Pac-Man is 30 this year? Wow, who feels old besides me? Do you miss the more simple days of your youth, where the only concern was making it home before the street lights came on? And now, while you look back at those seemingly blissful summer days, you realize you are just an empty shell owned by “the man”. It’s a sad state of affairs. Growing up sucks. But what if you could re-live some of those memories? What if YOU could chow down on some power pellets and take on the world just like that crazy yellow nom-noming son of a bitch did all those years. Today is your day my friends. Not a fan of Pac-Man and wish you could be Inky or Clyde? You can do that too! Choose Pac-Man and get your grub on some orange flavored power pellets. Choose Blinky and munch on some sour cherry ghost candies. Plus, you have the chance of getting a limited edition vulnerable blue ghost full of blue raspberry candy. Did your head just explode? Mine did. Twice.

Turn Your Car Into Pac Man, Ghosts Sold Separately

The Waze GPS app (free) turns your car ride into a real life Pac Man game.. sort of. Showing cherries and other goodies while you drive allows the app to gather user data based on unconfirmed streets. Did I just blow your mind? Let me break it down. You’re driving your super classy 1989 Ford Fiesta down Broadway, up on your GPS pops a cherry bonus icon. You follow the detour and when you drive over the cherry on the map, you get “points”, which also confirms and sends Waze an alert confirming that two roads meet or that the road is drivable, as opposed to.. say.. a brick wall or apartment building in the way. It’s clever, too bad the points you receive don’t amount to anything. However, I see this as a great way to do a scavenger hunt or something. Think about it, it’s brilliant. Ghosts and power balls not included, which sucks.
